The location at the intersection of two quiet and predominantly residential streets in Bucharest is the main theme of the architectural project and an opportunity skilfully used by the architect to shape its identity. The main volume of the individual dwelling, white and dominated by the full, displays with aplomb its two adjacent facades unified by the bold overhang of the access canopy, while protecting the users' private space facing the rear garden. The balance between visible / hidden, open / closed is carefully managed by the architect through a double negation: the transparency of the enclosure to the street draws the eye to the fully accessible front courtyard, while the compact design of the main volume, its proportions, its resolute horizontality, completely distract attention from exploring the interior, leaving the house to be perceived as a sculpture whose content is not revealed.
