Located on a small parallelogram-shaped plot in Bucharest, the individual dwelling skilfully negotiates the dimensional and geometric constraints of the land and transforms them into sources of inspiration for the building's architecture. Thus, the ground floor of the house, defined by the architect as a linear wooden surface unifying the side fencing and the facade cladding, runs parallel to the street, while the first floor runs parallel to the side street and the side boundaries of the plot. The volumes of the ground floor and first floor are rotated in relation to each other, their overlap also accentuated by the bold, two-sided overhang of the upper level. Both volumes are finished with wood panelling, the ground floor - with solid panels, and the first floor - with ribbed shutters, the white edge of the cantilevered panel separates and supports the composition and accentuates the horizontal proportion.
