The beneficiary's desire to protect the privacy of the house, located in a residential area nearby Bucharest, from the neighbouring buildings and the street, led to an atypical architectural form, both compositionally and regarding the facade, namely the breaking up of the volume into two smaller buildings. The main one - the individual house - is set back from the street and has a main facade dominated by solid, while the secondary one - the garage - is arranged on the alignment, with car access from the side. This gesture by the architect orders and prioritises the exterior spaces: while the front courtyard is paved and accessible from the road. The space between the garage and the individual dwelling becomes a vast, carefully maintained green courtyard, so that the building looks like a sculpture set on a bed of greenery, with no access. Looking from the opposite side, however, the perception changes diametrically: the stone-paved driveway connects the pedestrian gate on the alignment to the main entrance of the house, also tangent to the garage.
